In Surma / Suri area, guns are everywhere. They mainly come from the sudanese border, and are used in the daily life. Kids imitates adults, and dream of having a real one!
You can get one (not made of wood!) for 70 euros... This is not a hig price for warriors who own hundreds of catlle, and are "rich".

For some years, Ethiopia builds some giant roads all around the country. Those roads cut rural villages and you can see scenes like the one on the picture. Many roads are made by chinese workers, so the kids tend to call the foreigners "China!" instead of the old "Farenji", which was used since the first french visitors came. Those roads are also a big threat against the tribes, as the access to them will soon be like a Disneyland one, exit 3 on Highway numer 10...
