Haircut is easy in Himba tribe: the Himbas girls have 2 plaits in front of the face. The boy one, in the middle, behind. BUT...if you see a kid with one plait i the middle, and in front, not in the back, it means he is a Himba twin!

I only knew the bushmen thanks to an old movie i saw in my chilhood: The Gods Must Be Crazy. So it was a nice experience to meet them in Namibia.
The San culture is dispearing as the new generation is living in the towns now, and few people still live the life of their grand father times.
It is sad to see them on supermarket parkings begging for money.
They have a special language made with clicks of the tongue.
They also look much more like asian people than african.

After the fire, the bushmen are back to the village, with one question: the houses have been burnt too or not?
They had a lot of chance, the fire just stopped near their village.
They did not lost everything: on the way back, they found a grilled turtle!

I was visiting the Bushmen tribe in Namibia , they showed me how they find water in the bush, etc (pictures to come). Suddenly, the wind became stronger, and a fire started far away. in few minutes, the line of fire was coming nearer and nearer, and the smoke darker and darker...So you start running with the camera, the 3 lenses, the flash, and the bottle of water! The bushmen asked me to stop in a sand area, as the fire cannot cross it, and once the fire was close, i had to jump on the other side, where the land was burned, and so without danger...This is the daily life of the bushmen: fire and lack of water!
