 My Mate ::: by Richard Ashcroft ::: This photograph was taken during a dog sledging expedition through the Lyngen Alps near Tromso, Norway which is about 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. It was minus 15c but with the wind chill, was closer to minus 30c. We had pulled up for lunch in a small ravine and two of our dogs a male and a female were inseparable and kept each other warm during the break.
